A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation is pleased to announce TWO $150,000 2020 RESEARCH AWARDS!
The deadline to submit Letters of Intent (LOI) is Sunday, December 15, 2019. Successful applicants will be notified in January 2020 and invited to submit a full proposal. Learn more about A Breath of Hope’s research program, current LOI, and past recipients.
This year, A Breath of Hope is excited to showcase new LCAM awareness tactics you will see (and hear) around Minnesota and across the U.S. With the goal of improving early detection through increased awareness about the disease (incuding the many risk factors, what symptoms look like and who can be screened), the “anyone with lungs can get lung cancer” message will hit buses, radio stations, Facebook newsfeeds and posters across the U.S. (If you own a business, or know of a location that would allow us to post LCAM posters, contact Brooke.)
Join us November 15th as we bring lung cancer out of the shadows at this special event featuring magic performances by one of the country’s most sought-after corporate entertainers, Ryan Oakes. Raise a glass in the elegant, new-world chic atmosphere of the Aria Event Center in downtown Minneapolis. With former WCCO Anchor and beloved Twin Cities personality, Colleen Needles as emcee, a delicious catered dinner, important updates, live jazz music, awesome auctions, valet parking and more, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
