A Breath of Hope offers support groups for survivors as well as family members in our Minnetonka office. Each group offers opportunities for learning, discussion and support and is led by professional, certified facilitators.
Beginning in 2019, our grief group structure will move to quarterly meetings for all family members and will be focused on topic-driven talks. All large group meetings will be led by professionals and will be followed by small group breakout sessions broken down by men, women, or adult children grieving the loss of a loved one. These small groups will serve as a more intimate place for personal discussions among those grieving a loved one lost to lung cancer.
Stay tuned for 2019 topics!
- Grief Men’s Group: For men who have lost their significant other to cancer.
- Grief Women’s Group: For women who have lost their significant other to cancer.
- Grief Adult Children’s Group: For adult children (18+) who have lost a parent, grandparent or parent-figure to cancer.
- Women’s Survivor Group: For women who have been diagnosed with lung cancer.
A Breath of Hope also supports local Hospital Support Groups.
