MN Lung Cancer Screening Task Force

Task Force Mission Statement: Decrease lung cancer mortality in Minnesota through increased screening.

The MN Lung Cancer Screening Task Force is a collaboration of physicians, nurses, screening experts and lung cancer advocacy organizations committed to getting eligible Minnesotans screened annually with low dose CT scans. Every healthcare organization in Minnesota is invited to send up to eight people to the September 27, 2019 meeting in Minneapolis.

7:00 – 8:00 am – networking breakfast

8:00 – 9:00 am – Keynote by Dr. Jamie Studts, PI of the Kentucky LEADS Program, on implementing strategies to overcome barriers and increase screening

9:00 am – 11:00 am – Breakout sessions focused on identification of elgible patients, program quality and retention, and managing incidental findings and false positives.

11:00 am – Noon – Panel and Interactive Session

Noon to 1:00 pm – networking lunch
