The steering committee (composed mostly of survivors and caregivers) identified three goals that were important to the success of this event: \n\nProvide opportunities for people living with lung cancer to meet others on the journey in order to expand their support network;\nEducate survivors and caregivers with the newest information\, tools\, and resources for improved health outcomes; and\nDrive hope and positive energy.
