Session 1: Nutrition for Strength and Recovery

5:30 – 6:20 p.m.
Oncology Dietitian 

Nutrition plays a critical role in healing, maintaining strength, and managing side effects. This session will explore practical strategies for fueling your body during and after treatment. You’ll learn how to support recovery through balanced meals, manage appetite changes and taste shifts, understand supplements, and stay properly hydrated. The goal is simple: give your body what it needs to stay resilient.

Session 2: Safe Movement and Building Strength

6:30 – 7:20 p.m.

Movement can reduce fatigue, improve joint pain, support breathing, and enhance overall quality of life. This session will focus on safe, accessible exercises designed specifically for individuals impacted by lung cancer. You’ll learn how to build strength gradually, incorporate gentle movement into your routine, and listen to your body while staying active.

Optional Guided Walk

7:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Following the session, participants are invited to join an optional outdoor walk led by our exercise speakers. This relaxed, supportive walk is an opportunity to put movement into practice, ask questions, and connect with others in the community.
