Lung Cancer Research

A Breath of Hope is committed to funding critical U.S. lung cancer research and works to mitigate the disproportionate dollars allotted to lung cancer research and new treatments.

With nearly $3 million invested in translational research projects that lead to new treatments for late stage diagnoses, we are moving toward a much improved survival rate!

Donate to lung cancer research and become part of the solution!

Awareness & Education

Early detection through screening and education is the answer to mostly late-stage lung cancer diagnoses and a 26.6% five-year lung cancer survival rate in the U.S. Should you be screened?

Patient & Family Support

A lung cancer diagnosis is devastating for patients and their loved ones. A Breath of Hope provides hope, support, and resources for ALL lung cancer survivors and their caregivers. We also offer transportation services for our Minnesota lung cancer patients.

ABOH offers U.S. lung cancer patients and families online support groups focused on education, a global patient education program called the Animated Guide to Lung Cancer, companionship visits and driving services, and grief groups.

Our programs support patients and families, fund critical U.S. lung cancer research, and provide awareness and education for improved health outcomes.
