A Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Foundation and Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance launched a new survivorship-focused program designed for survivors and caregivers who want practical tools, expert guidance, and supportive connection in a welcoming environment.

This series is made possible through funding from the Minnesota Cancer Alliance.

With nearly 40% of cancers directly linked to the food we eat and exercise we get, nutrition plays a powerful role in minimizing risk of cancer.  But what role does nutrition play when cancer has already been diagnosed?  Join Certified Oncology and Nutrition Specialist and Registered Dietitian Sarah Barts, from MN Oncology, as she walks you through how to support your immune system, rebuild strength and energy and how to nourish your body during and beyond treatment. She’ll also walk you through some of the latest evidence-based research as it relates to nutrition and cancer survivorship and will provide practical, realistic strategies to apply it into your life.
