Join us for a live VIRTUAL meditation class! Alison Crowley, certified yoga therapist and founder of Bolster & Bridge Yoga Therapy, will lead us through guided meditation to relax and focus the mind.

Start off your month with a greater sense of relaxation, presence, and focus through the healing practice of meditation. Many doctors and health professionals now recommend various types of meditation. Meditation helps to bring the central nervous system into “the relaxation response,” which can help to ease pain, calm our nerves, and soothe sleep issues. Meditation can also help us with concentration and memory. In short, a regular meditation practice can ease our stress, while calming and focusing the mind. We will explore different types of meditation, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Loving-Kindness, Vipassana (Insight), and many others. We will have practice time, as well as discussion/question time to fully explore and integrate the practices into our minds, hearts, and bodies.
