Help Shape the Future of Lung Cancer Care: Invitation to Participate and Share Your Lung Cancer Story

Optimizing Timely and Comprehensive Molecular Profiling in NSCLC: A Human Centered Approach to Overcoming Barriers, Enhancing Communication, and Improving Implementation

Investigators from the University of Minnesota are looking for adults personally affected by lung cancer and/or caregivers of loved ones  with a lung cancer diagnosis to help us with a research study to improve timely and  comprehensive genetic testing (molecular profiling) for all people with lung cancer. Genetic  testing analyzes tumor samples for hundreds of cancer-related biomarkers, which can inform and  optimize treatment decisions. We are inviting you to participate in a research interview to better  understand your experiences, needs, and thoughts about lung cancer care.

  • Eligibility: Adults (18+) with an established diagnosis of lung cancer, their close  caregivers.
  • Method: A virtual interview (on Zoom/phone) lasting about 45 minutes. The interview  will be audio recorded and transcribed so we can accurately capture and analyze data.
  • Privacy: All information will be de-identified. Taking part will not affect your medical  care in any way.
  • Voluntary participation: You may stop or withdraw at any time without any  consequences.
  • Value: Your story will help us improve how information and support are provided to  patients and families in the future.
  • Compensation: To thank you for your time, you will be offered a $50 gift card after  completing the interview.

To participate fill out a short interest form using code FT8KJPDFK. You will receive a follow up to schedule a date and time for the virtual interview.
