Staying active is an important part of navigating lung cancer for patients in treatment, survivors, and caregivers. Regular physical activity can help maintain strength, boost energy, and improve overall well-being. To support this, we offer free exercise classes and instructional videos designed to help you safely feel better at every stage of your journey.

 
 

Virtual Light Stretch & Movement

Join our virtual light stretch and movement classes led by Alison, a highly experienced Certified Yoga Therapist who has spent nearly two decades supporting people living with cancer. Her gentle, compassionate approach creates a safe, welcoming space to move, breathe, and reconnect with your body—whether you’re in treatment, recovering, or caring for someone you love. All you need is a smart phone, tablet, or computer.

When: Third Thursday of each month, 4 – 5 p.m.

Tips for exercising during lung cancer treatment:

  • Start slowly: Start with low-intensity activities like walking or stretching, and gradually increase the intensity.
  • Listen to your body: Don’t overexert yourself.
  • Improve your posture: Good posture can help with breathing and lung capacity.
