*Early shirt pick-up on Friday, Aug. 11 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at TC Running in Eden Prairie: 6405 City W Pkwy b5, Eden Prairie
Event village opens at the Lake Harriet Bandshell Park: 7:30 AM
Ask an Expert Tent Open: 7:30 – 10:00 AM
5K & 10K Runs: 8:00 AM
Live Music with Leon Laudenbach starts: 8:00 AM
5K Walk and Survivor Bus Ride: 8:30 AM
Runner prizes: 9:00 AM
School of Rock – 25 minute performance: 9:20 AM
Kids (5-12) Fun Run: 9:30 AM
Survivor photo in front of stage: 9:45 AM
Stage speakers (MALE LC THRIVERS and Mayo’s Dr. Leventakos!): 9:45 AM
Rose Raft of Remembrance Ceremony: 10:45 AM
Join the MN lung cancer community at the 17th annual Lung Run/Walk on August 12th to raise your voice for change! And – a big thank you to our sponsors (listed below) – you are our heroes!
Events details: 5K walk and certified 5K and 10K runs with prizes for best times, FUN RUN with medals for kids 5-12, LIVE music, ‘ask the expert’ tent (docs and nurses), YLB activities for young adults, a performance by the School of Rock, research and new discoveries update, lung cancer survivor tent and bus ride, the rose raft of remembrance ceremony, and most importantly, a chance to remember or honor your loved ones while fighting this terrible disease!
Prizes: Top male and female runner in each age category! Top fundraising captains and team!
Ticket prices: $20 or children 12 and under; $40 for walkers over 13; $50 for runners – 5K or 10K. Proceeds support our research and patient services programs!
